1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any PDFBuddy service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Service Description

PDFBuddy provides online PDF processing tools including merging, splitting, compressing, converting, watermarking, and securing PDF documents. We offer both free and premium tiers of service.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 16 years old to use our services.
One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content
Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit our platform
Use automated systems to abuse the service beyond rate limits
Violate intellectual property rights of third parties

5. Subscription & Billing

Premium plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all documents you upload. PDFBuddy does not claim any rights over your files. Our platform, brand, and code are protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

PDFBuddy is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.
